Akshaya Lottery draw takes place on Wednesday afternoons at 3:00 pm at Gorky Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram, near Bakery Junction. To participate, you must be at least 18 years old.
Akshaya tickets consist of 12 alphabetical series. Each ticket is printed with two letters, it always begins with the letter ‘A’ and followed by another letter that may be: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, J, K, L, M, or N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, X, Y, Z. The two letters are followed by six digits ranging from 1 to 9.
The game offers a variety of rewards that fortunate Kerala Lottery players may win. You win the relevant prize money if the number on your ticket matches one of the winning numbers. Keep your ticket and receipt since you will be required to produce them if you win a reward.
Every Wednesday afternoon, you have the opportunity to win a jackpot of ₹70 Lakhs rupees. The game has eight reward tiers and a consolation award of ₹8,000/- for each ticket in the other series that matches the top prize-winning number.
How to claim a prize?
If you win an Akshaya prize, you must claim it within 30 days after the date of the winning draw. To make a claim, you will need the original lottery ticket and the purchase receipt.
In addition, should complete all essential fields, including the name of the winner. You receive a reward of up to INR 5,000 straight from a lottery agent, however, you must visit a District Lottery Office or the Directorate of State Lotteries to claim a sum up to INR 1,00,000. If you are the winner of a first or second prize, you must present your winnings to the Directorate. Winners who do not reside in Kerala must also make their claim in Kerala.
Kerala Lottery wins over INR 10,000 are considered income and are subject to a 30% tax.
