The Sthree Sakthi Lottery, also referred as Sree Sakthi, is held once a week on a Tuesday. The draws are conducted in Gorky Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram, near Bakery Junction, and are monitored by lottery officials.
It’s a relatively simple game to learn. Tickets are ₹40, and all you have to do is ensure you submit your submissions on time and then retain them to verify the results.
The game begins with the prefix ‘SS-‘ and ends with the three-digit draw number. Thus, the series consists of two letters – the first is ‘S,’ followed by a second letter and six digits.
To buy a ticket, you must be at least 18 years old. The money collected from the games go toward financing the Kerala Government and especially toward projects that empower women.
Sthree Shakthi was formerly known as Dhanushree.
The jackpot prize in the Sthree Sakthi Lottery is worth ₹75 Lakhs. If you own a matching ticket number, you win the jackpot. Additionally, there are eight more reward levels and 11 consolation prizes for players who have the same six-digit number as the winning ticket but a different series entry. How to Claim a Prize?
If you win a Sthree Sakthi Lottery reward, you have 30 days to claim it. After that, you may collect your winnings up to ₹5,000 from a lottery agent. You must claim winnings between ₹5,000 and ₹1,000,000 in person at a District Lottery Office or the Directorate of State Lotteries.
If you are the winner of a first or second prize, you must present your winnings to the Directorate. Non-Kerala residents who win can also claim in Kerala. Lottery winnings are taxable, and Prizes over ₹10,000 are subject to a 30% tax.
